Produced by Ellen Degeneres, Splitting Up Together starred Fischer as Lena and Oliver Hudson as her husband Martin. In the series, the couple have three kids and decides it's best to file for divorce. To make it easy for everyone involved, the couple splits their time with the kids every week.

One person lives in the house and takes care of the kids, and the other lives in the back apartment where they're "off-duty" for the week. The series was incredibly well-done and was a unique concept, but only lasted for two seasons.

8 Brad’s Status (2017)

Brad's Status was a film about a man who starts over-thinking his choices in life after his son starts looking at colleges. When Brad thinks back to the lives his best friends are living, he can't help but compare his life to theirs and think about where he went wrong. In the film, Jenna Fischer plays Ben Stiller's wife, Melanie. She adores her husband, even though he questions most things.

The comedy-drama hit the film festival scene before being released in studios.

7 You, Me, And The Apocalypse (2015)

You, Me, And The Apocalypse was another comedy-drama TV show released in 2015. The series starred Rob Lowe, Mathew Baynton, and Jenna Fischer and focused on a comet that was heading straight for earth. With their days numbered, viewers see how different characters handle their final moments.

Jenna Fischer plays Rhonda, a woman who's incarcerated for taking the blame for a crime she didn't commit to save her son. As entertaining as the synopsis is, the show wasn't greenlit for a second season (even though it scored an 83% from Rotten Tomatoes!).

Are You Here starred big-time names like Owen Wilson, Amy Poehler, and Zach Galifianakis. The film revolves around the death of Ben's (Galifianakis) dad and needing his best friend, Steve's (Wilson), support. The duo makes the trip for Ben's dad's funeral and finds out he's been left millions of dollars and then some. Drama ensues, of course, as Ben's aunt doesn't think Ben is of sound mind to inherit such a large fortune. Ben ends up seeing a therapist (Fischer) to see if he really is of sound mind.

Fischer's role was minor and sadly, the movie didn't do well in box offices.

5 Kiss Me (2014)

Kiss Me was a romantic drama revolving around two teenaged girls with very different problems. Due to their physical and emotional issues, the two become close and surprisingly start relying on each other. However, things get messy. Fischer's character is married to a man who ends up having an affair with their babysitter, forcing her to fire the babysitter and confront her marital problems. The film received a 5.5 rating on IMDb. 

4 Newsreaders (2015)

Right when The Office ended, Jenna Fischer jumped into the show Newsreaders. The comedy premiered on the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim and lasted for two seasons. Jenna Fischer wasn't the star of the series but she did appear in an episode ("The FMK Killer") as Kelly Spears. In this episode, an interview is conducted with a notorious serial killer.

3 The Mysteries Of Laura (2016)

The Mysteries of Laura starred Debra Messing as Detective Laura Diamond. The family drama showed Laura trying to thrive in work and as a soon-to-be-divorcee who happens to have her ex-husband (Jake) as her boss.

Jenna Fischer appeared in the second season of the series as Jennifer Lambert. Lambert was Jake's new love interest who was also a prosecutor. In a crazy twist, Laura decides she wants a second chance with Jake but he and Jennifer become engaged in the season two finale.

2 The Guest Book (2017)

The Guest Book was a TV series that lasted for two seasons. The series revolves around the lives of those running vacation rentals and the things that happen with their guests. Jenna Fischer was in two episodes as Dr. Laurie Galiff. In the episodes, Laurie brings her patient Edgar to the cottage where she's working on his Alzheimers. She quickly learns more about his former lives and experiences and finds some troubling truths to the patient she's been working so closely with.

1 The 15:17 To Paris (2018)

The 15:17 To Paris was directed by famed director & actor Clint Eastwood. The movie was based on real events when three Americans traveling through Europe on their way to Paris stopped a disastrous terrorist attempt from happening. Due to their bravery, they saved hundreds of passengers who were also on the train. In the film, Fischer stars as Heidi Skarlatos — the mother of Alek; one of the American heroes who saved the day. The film received a 5.2 on IMDb and grossed more than 57 million at the box office.
