After vying for the hearts of Pauly D and Vinny the cast of A Double Shot at Love has moved on to new career paths and new love.
In 2019 MTV decided to capitalize Jersey Shore's renewed popularity and give the show's two most iconic friends their own dating show. A Double Shot at Love with Pauly D and Vinny rebooted the dating competition of the same name, previously centered around the Ikki twins. The first season ended with a love connection for Vinny but Pauly D wasn't ready to settle down just yet.
Despite not getting their happily ever after, the final 10 contestants have extended their 15 minutes of fame by building successful social media careers and becoming reality television stars, models, and entrepreneurs. Even though Pauly D has found love, Vinny has spent three seasons searching for his perfect woman with no success as of yet.
Alysse Joyner
Alysse Joyner was one of the shier girls in A Double Shot at Love, but she was able to win over Vinny and won the show as his final pick. But after the show, the lovefest ended with a messy breakup that played out on social media. According to Distractify, Joyner accused Vinny of DM'ing other girls from the show and refused to come back for season 2.
Since the end of her season, Joyer has continued to share her love of cooking on Instagram (@lysseskitchen), which she showed during the competition. On her main Instagram (@lyssejoyner), she has developed a modeling career.
Nikki Hall
Nikki Hall left the show's first season with her heart broken when Pauly D decided to keep looking for love during the finale. However, all was not lost for the couple; after meeting back up for season 2, Pauly D decided Nikki was the one for him.
Since the show's ending, Pauly and Nikki have continued to date. She appears as one of the most likable Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast members. According to her Instagram, she also works as a model for Fashion Nova.
Derynn Paige
Derynn Paige was all in for Pauly D from the beginning of the show but left the competition with no love interests. However, the show proved to be a launching point for the then 25-year-olds career. Paige started a modeling career and a lingerie business called Goddess of Easton.
According to her personal Instagram (@derynn_paige), she isn't done with reality television quite yet and will be on the latest season of MTV's Ex on the Beach, where she is likely to become one of the most memorable Ex on the Beach cast members.
Elle Wilson
Elle Wilson was confident from the get-go and proved she was just as smart as she was beautiful. Her confidence and no-nonsense attitude caused her to rub some of the other contestants (and Vinny and Pauly) the wrong way at times. Despite being put off by Vinny referring to her as a "Fashion Nova Girl," Wilson has gone on to be an ambassador and model for the clothing brand.
After the show, Wilson went back to school and completed her master's degree in digital marketing and data analytics from Emerson College.
Maria Elizondo
After her appearance on Are You the One, Maria Elizondo was on Team Vinny. Even though they had a strong connection, Maria couldn't let Vinny in enough to convince him that she was the love of his life. Vinny invited Elizondo back for season 2 of the show, where the couple reconciled and dated for a time but ultimately broke up according to Showbiz CheatSheet.
Elizondo has since appeared on season 3 of the show to give Vinny one last chance. She currently works as a social media influencer as well as working as a model.
Brittnay Dawson
As a part of the revived reality show, Brittnay Dawson captured the audience's attention as the weather girl from Nebraska. Dawson was a shocking choice for the cast to some as she has previously been married and had a teenage daughter. Dawson was known for staying away from the drama in the house and being an observer of the other contestants' crazy antics.
According to her official website, Dawson is working on her first documentary and has her own podcast. She also works as a consultant for brands looking to improve their digital marketing.
Marissa Lucchese
Marissa Lucchese was bold on the show and wasn't afraid to ruffle feathers in the house. She would take Pauly away from someone if she thought they were getting too much of his time. The two connected over their parent's divorce and being vulnerable to each other. Lucchese appeared on the second season of the show as well.
After returning home, Lucchese became a makeup and beauty influencer on social media. According to her Instagram, she has started her own false eyelash brand.
Suzi Baidya
Suzi Baidya was known for her unique laugh and stirring up trouble with contestant Nikki. Despite being seen as shy and reserved by Pauly and Vinny, Suzi let it be known to the others in the house that she was not a fan of Nikki.
According to her Instagram, Suzi is still a nurse and works as a traveling RN. Suzi hasn't shred much of her life on her social media platforms besides her partying and living it up on the club scene, which she expressed her love for while on the show.
Holly Gurbisz
Holly Gurbisz, pictured in the green top, was deemed weird by Pauly and the others in the house, especially after it was revealed on the show that she bites her toenails. In her MTV bio, Holly was described as a high-maintenance Jersey Girl who is Pauly's number one fan, which led fans to question if she really had feelings for Pauly or was she only there to meet her favorite celebrity.
According to her personal website, Gurbisz is working as an actress and has appeared as an extra in two films. She no longer has an Instagram account but does have a YouTube that she primarily uses for audition tapes for acting gigs.
Brittani "B-Lashes" Schwartz
B-Lashes caught Pauly and Vinny's attention with her B-Lashes Bop dance and her over-the-top style. Even though she was in competition with the other girls, they were sad to see her go home, except Nikki.
As one of the most friendly women on the show, B-Lashes was an instant fan favorite which worked to her advantage after the show had aired. Since being on the show, B-Lashes has started her lash brand and is working as a beauty influencer on social media, according to her Instagram.
