All players can complete activities from Season of the Hunt, Chosen, Splicer, and Lost in Destiny 2. Here's how to start each of them.

Destiny 2 Void Ability used during a mission

Destiny 2 Season of the Lost is the latest installment for the Beyond Light expansion, but activities from Season of the Hunt, Chosen, and Splicer can still be accessed until the Witch Queen expansion is live. New or returning players who missed out on these past Seasons still have the opportunity to complete these activities and earn their rewards before Season of the Lost ends. Like Season of the LostSeasons of the Hunt, Chosen, and Splicer all contain key story details that are building up to the full introduction of Savathun.

While each Season in Destiny 2 has a free version of the Season Pass, those who wish to access each Beyond Light Season will need to own the Deluxe Edition of the Beyond Light expansion. Owning this expansion grants access to Season of the Hunt, Chosen, Splicer, and Lost, regardless of when it was purchasedThe first missions of the Shadowkeep and Forsaken expansions on the Moon and Tangled Shore must be completed in order to access the locations where many of these activities take place.

Having access to the Beyond Light expansion also grants players the ability to unlock the different Umbral Engram tiers that can be focused at the Prismatic Recaster located in the HELM. The HELM serves as the base of operations for the majority of the last four seasons. Unfortunately, because much of the storyline dialogue takes place in the HELM, there will probably be spoilers based on the passive lines characters say. Players who want to complete the activities in order should finish activities from Season of the Hunt first, then Chosen, then Splicer, and finally Lost.
