Shake takes to social media to show off his new girlfriend, Emily, and update Love Is Blind season 2 fans of his current relationship status.
Shake a.k.a. Abhishek Chatterjee has now completely moved on from his relationship with Deepti Vempati on Love Is Blind season 2 and took to social media to show off his new girlfriend, Emily. It's no secret that Shake's journey on Love Is Blind was shaky from the very beginning. He was shown asking women several questions about their bodies, sizes, and shapes, which threw off several of them. Alas, Shake made it out of the pods engaged to Deepti.
As the season went on, it became clear that Shake just wasn't that into Deepti for one reason or another. He constantly noted that he wasn't physically attracted to Deepti despite her best efforts to work on their relationship. In the end, it seemed like Shake was going to stand Deepti up at the altar, but the opposite happened. Deepti delivered a powerful speech about not settling for someone who wasn't as invested in her as she was in him.
Now, Shake has taken to Instagram to update Love Is Blind fans on his new relationship with a woman named Emily. As seen in the post below, Shake shared a slideshow of pictures with Emily where they did some sightseeing, spent some time at home, and enjoyed a night out. "Good things come to those who don't settle [heart emoji]," Shake wrote in the caption. To avoid sparking up any drama with Love Is Blind fans, Shake deactivated the comments section in this post. Alas, he did tag Emily on her own Instagram page, @emw13. While it is true that Shake had already teased this new relationship in previous posts, this latest series of photos - and caption - made things crystal clear.
In the meantime, fans have been speculating whether Love Is Blind stars Deepti and Kyle are currently dating in the post-season. Kyle Abrams got the short end of the stick when it came to his relationship with Shaina Hurley, and Deepti didn't have an easy time with Shake, either. As a result, several reports and social media posts have come out suggesting that there might be something going on between Kyle and Deepti. With that said, nothing has been fully confirmed by them as of yet. Even if something is happening between them, it is safe to say that Deepti and Kyle are keeping it all on the down-low for the time being.
Just like in season 1, the Love Is Blind season 2 experiment didn't work for all of the cast members involved. Thankfully, Danielle Ruhl & Nick Thompson and Iyanna McNeely & Jarrette Jones did find love in the pods. When it comes to the rest of this Love Is Blind cast, though, let's just say that love was not blind.
