Tammy II and Ron Swanson were one of the most toxic couples on Parks and Recreation, and yet, fans couldn't get enough of the episodes they shared.

Ron and Tammy II were toxic exes that never should have reconciled throughout Parks and Recreation. As it turned out, Ron had a thing for Tammys, since his mother, first wife, and second wife all shared the name. As toxic as Tammy I was, there was something unhinged about Tammy II. Ron didn't always have the self-control to stay away from her, creating some hilariously inappropriate moments.

Since Tammy II was only a side character who popped up here and there in the series, she and Ron didn't have as many scenes together as fans would have enjoyed. However, the episodes Ron and Tammy II did share were genius, even if the two were only bickering or flirting with one another.

The Trial Of Leslie Knope (Season 4, Episode 9)

Tammy II testifying against Leslie on Parks and Rec

In "The Trial of Leslie Knope," Ben and Leslie were on trial for their secret romantic relationship while working for the Pawnee Government. Ben and Leslie quickly became one of TV's best couples. Chris Traeger also loved Leslie and Ben as friends and as a couple but a romantic relationship was against the rules.

Chris had to introduce a few witnesses to the stand who could prove whether or not Leslie and Ben's relationship benefited their specific work projects or not. One of the witnesses he called in was Tammy II. Funny enough, Ron knew Tammy was there because he smelled her "sulfur" when she entered the courthouse. Tammy didn't end up being very helpful but her mere presence scaring Ron out of the courtroom was hilarious.

Moving Up: Part 2 (Season 6, Episode 22)

Ron and Tammy have a stare down at the park on Parks and Rec

In "Moving Up: Part 2," the parks and rec. department was busy planning and running Pawnee's Unity Concert. Leslie had a lot on her hands, but Ron was enjoying seeing everything come together on the day of.

In one scene, Ron, Diane, and their kids were watching Andy perform on stage when Ron started sniffing the air. Whenever Ron starts sniffing hard, those around him know that Tammy II must be near. Ron sniffing the air while whispering "Tammy" is one of Ron's best quotes that never ages. In the scene, Tammy II was, in fact, right behind him. She told Ron she was patrolling for some "daddy" and didn't believe his dedicated husband schtick. Ron made his usual insults before she strutted away.

Li'l Sebastian (Season 3, Episode 16)

Ron and Tammy talk at Sebastian's memorial on Parks and Rec

As thick-skinned and hard as Ron Swanson is, he's actually a softy whose capable of thoughtful things for his friends and colleagues. When Li'l Sebastian died, Ron was devastated and agreed with the parks department that they had to throw a memorial of all memorials for the town's favorite miniature horse.

After his memorial, Tammy II approached Ron, which surprised him. He didn't think someone like her would go to a miniature horse's funeral. Although Tammy tried enticing Ron to follow her home, he made hilarious comments about what kind of bus she'd be on to get to "Satan's butthole." Although Ron and Tammy's moments are small, they're some of the best parts of the episodes.

Ron & Jammy (Season 7, Episode 2)

Tammy II and jam talking to Leslie and Ron on Parks and Rec

Jeremy Jamm was one of the best recurring characters because he was one of the few government workers who clashed with Leslie. Their differences made their episodes more intriguing. Jamm's issues with Leslie multiplied when he started dating Tammy II.

In "Ron & Jammy," Leslie needed Ron's help to break Jam and Tammy up. Tammy was only with Jamm to make Ron jealous. She also liked that she could control him and he'd do whatever she wanted. Throughout the episode, Ron and Leslie had literally snap Jamm out of the love bubble he was in with Tammy to get him to see how dangerous their relationship was. Seeing Ron explain to Jamm how backward and intoxicating Tammy was was hilarious for viewers.

Ron And Tammys (Season 4, Episode 2)

A drink-off with Tammy 1, Ron's mom, and Leslie from Parks and Rec

As mentioned previously, Ron has a lot of Tammys in his life. As toxic as Tammy II is, Tammy I was worse. Tammy I came back to Pawnee for Ron in "Ron And Tammys." She somehow convinced him to be romantically involved with her again and his entire personality changed. He shaved his mustache, he wore different clothes, he was more engaged at work... Leslie and co. were all concerned for him.

The only way to scare Tammy I away was to bring in Tammy II, or as Leslie said, "Basically we are being attacked by Godzilla, and to beat Godzilla, we need Mothra. No offense." Tammy II tried her best to help Leslie but even she was terrified of Tammy I. Knowing that the only person to come in between Ron and Tammy II was Tammy I was a unique dynamic to watch.

Ron And Diane (Season 5, Episode 9)

In "Ron And Diane," Ron was invited to the Indiana Fine Woodworking Association awards banquet because of a wooden chair he constructed. The night was a big one for Ron and he was honored to be around other craftsmen like himself. With Diane on his arm and Leslie supporting him, Ron was satisfied with his evening.

Hilariously, their evening was ruined when Tammy II showed up. Wearing a revealing dress, Tammy II had every intention of breaking Ron and Diane up so that he'd go home with her. She sat at their table and made inappropriate remarks and gestures throughout the whole night. Eventually, Leslie proved she and Ron were the best duo when she took one for the team and tried chasing Tammy II away. The two women chased each other around the area so that Ron and Diane could enjoy their night, making this episode one of the best.

Ron & Tammy 2 (Season 3, Episode 4)

"Ron & Tammy 2" was one of the best episodes because viewers saw Ron Swanson in a light they've never seen him in before. Tammy II tried having her way with Ron but he declined her advances because he was in a relationship with Wendy. But when he and Wendy broke up and he ran into Tammy II at a police department fundraiser, things took a turn for the worse.

After arguing outside, the two started kissing. The evening led to mayhem. They got piercings, braided Ron's hair, broke into city hall, got married, and later got jailed. Leslie had to release Ron from jail and give him an intervention to remind him of how horrible their relationship could be. The two finally called it quits when Ron saw Tammy II beat up Tom, snapping him out of the love trance he was in.

Ron & Tammy (Season 2, Episode 8)

Ron and Tammy kissing at the diner on Parks and Rec

Megan Mullally was one of the best guest stars in Parks and Recreation when she appeared in her first episode, "Ron & Tammy." Their first episode together was the best in the series because viewers saw how addicted the two were to each other but were not good for each other.

In the episode, Tammy II came around to make amends with Ron. Ron didn't want to hear what she had to say but Leslie forced them to grab coffee together. This quickly led to them fighting in front of the entire diner before making out on a table. The two were kicked out and they quickly drove to a motel. It turned out that Tammy was only using Ron so she could secure Lot 48 for the library and the two soon broke up yet again. However, seeing their dynamic for the first time made this one of their best episodes.
