Haley Harris endured an awkward marriage to Jacob Harder on Married At First Sight. In 2021, Haley put the show behind her & is living her best life.
Although Haley Harris did not end up staying with Jacob Harder on season 12, the Married at First Sight alum has had a celebratory 2021. From vacationing to spending time with fellow MAFS stars, here's everything fans need to know about Haley's life following her stint on the Lifetime show.
On Married at First Sight, Haley's relationship with Jacob was cringeworthy. Season two of the massively popular reality series took place in Atlanta, Georgia. Haley, a 28-year-old account executive, was matched with Jacob, a 38-year-old senior IT analyst. The couple did not have much in common, had no chemistry in the bedroom, and ultimately determined it was best for them to divorce on decision day. Apparently, the matchmakers hoped that opposites would attract when pairing Haley and Jacob. While on the show, Haley was accused of being "cold" to her ex, but she felt she put in what she was getting out of her introverted partner.
While Haley's run on Married at First Sight was underwhelming, the reality television personality has not let her disappointing experience ruin her whole year. On top of making $88,000 as an accountant, Haley has spent 2021 traveling the world and living her best life. On her Instagram, @haleyharris, Haley has 39,900 followers. Haley has shared over 340 posts on her social media, many of which give fans an insight into her chaotic 2021. While 2021 has been an eventful year for everyone, Haley's year has been especially exciting with the premiere of Married at First Sight's season 12 this past January. In Haley's first post of 2021, she shared a throwback with her MAFS co-stars, Paige Banks, Briana Miles, Clara Berghaus, and Virginia Coombs. From pictures with Jacob to the friends she made on MAFS, Haley supplied fans with plenty of behind-the-scenes moments in 2021.
Haley was the target of mockery after fans discovered she didn't have a broad history of relationship experience. This resulted in Haley's embrace of her Married at First Sight journey coming to an end. In a post on the night of the season 12 finale, Haley proclaimed, "I hate to see you go but I love to watch you leave," and chucked several emoji deuces. Fortunately for the newly-divorced accountant, the end of MAFS was only the beginning of Haley's exciting year. In May, Haley traveled from Los Angeles to Miami with friends, including her co-star, Paige. Haley also crossed the southern border and vacationed in Tulum Beach, Mexico this June. Haley was accompanied by a gaggle of friends during her luxurious Mexican beach vacation, including Married At First Sight season 10 ice skating star Mindy Shiben.
Although Haley had a less than fruitful experience on Married at First Sight, it has not soured her year. Haley hasn't found love but has spent her 2021 traveling the world with friends and ignoring the cyberbullies who've mocked her unsuccessful relationship history. Despite her lackluster run on season 12, Haley is making the most of her year after Married at First Sight.
