The Voice season 3 winner, Cassadee Pope has been keeping pretty busy since the finale. Find out what the country singer has been up to since.

Cassadee Pope became the first female winner of The Voice during the season 3 finale in December 2012. Her blind audition turned the chairs of all four judges and won her a spot on Team Blake. Originally a punk artist, Team Blake's Cassadee Pope's first several rounds of the competition only garnered moderate praise.

However, when she sang "Over You," a song written by coach Blake Shelton, who may leave The Voice, and his then-wife, Miranda Lambert, about the death of his brother, she became the one to beat.After her successful performance of "Over You," Cassadee shifted her style choices to country.

From that point on, each solo performance during her time on The Voice wound up in the Top 10 on iTunes. Her final two performances even went all the way to the number 1 spot. By the time she was crowned the season 3 winner, she already had over a million downloads. So, what has Blake's second winner been up to since her big win? Quite a lot!

Cassadee Has Released Several Albums

After winning season 3 of NBC's favorite singing competition The Voice, Cassadee signed with a country music label in Nashville called Republic Nashville. She released her debut single, "Wasting All These Tears" in May of 2013, which sold 125,000 in its first week. The song debuted at number 7 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The album, Frame By Frame, was released that October which debuted at number 1 on the Top Country Album chart and sold 43,000 copies in its first week. While Cassadee released several successful singles in the meantime, she did not release her second full studio album until February 1, 2019, when Stages dropped. Cassadee released her newest album, Thrive, in October 2021 to an overwhelming response.

Cassadee Has Fallen In Love

The punk-turned-country former The Voice alum had been engaged to All Time Low drummer Rian Dawson, but the pair broke off their engagement in 2017. Shortly after, Cassadee began dating British actor and fellow musician Sam Palladio. Sam is well known for playing Gunnar Scott on the hit show Nashville. The couple even owns a house together in Nashville. This past Valentine's Day, Cassadee made an Instagram post wishing a happy fourth anniversary to the singer and actor, along with the caption, "Happy 4th Anniversary, my Stars Wars lovin’- swan befriending- cleans up real nice Valentine." The pair are still going strong and are very much in love.

Cassadee Is Going On Tour

Cassadee is currently getting ready to kick off her Thrive Tour which begins March 18. According to her Instagram, the former The Voice competitor and her band have been rehearsing for months in preparation. The tour will promote her most recent album Thrive, which is a blend of country and pop punk. The star is excited to be revisiting some of her previous styles while performing. The tour kicks off in Baltimore and has just added more stops, including Atlanta and Charlotte. Tickets are on sale now at the official Cassadee Pope website.
